Lake Mombeong to Nelson – 23km

Start at the Lake Mombeong camping ground, from there  walk about 7km through the sand dune tracks which eventually comes out to the beach. This is called the inland route on the GSWW and it is well sign posted. The 12km walk along the beach at the end should be very pleasant. The sand is hard and flat. You will come to a lookout landing with a path leading to a carpark,  then walk about 3km up to Nelson.
